Paddling in style

This painting was done using Caran D'ache watercolour pencils, the image was taken from a photograph I took on the beach in Cyprus. This lady looked so completely serene standing there thigh deep in the sea, I knew as soon as I saw her that I wanted to paint her when I got home! Please click image to enlarge.
